Many cruises to the Caribbean only show you a small part of the beauty of the Caribbean Sea. They only show the resorts of the eastern Caribbean. The western Caribbean is less crowded and retains much of the beauty and warmth that made the Caribbean famous. A western Caribbean cruise can make for an enjoyable Caribbean cruise adventure.
On board, a western Caribbean cruise offers you the same great amenities and activities that you enjoy on typical eastern Caribbean cruises. You get the same great hospitality and the same great relaxing adventure. The only differences are the ports of call.
A western Caribbean cruise introduces you to a different list of ports of call. It doesn’t visit the Bahamas or the Virgin Islands, instead it visits awesome ports of call such as Cozumel, Montego Bay, the Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Belize, Roatan Island and even Panama. A western Caribbean cruise is definitely a more Latin cruise experience.
The ports of call on a western Caribbean cruise are simply awesome. Cozumel is located on the Mexican Rivera. It’s one of the top beach destinations in the world. The Cayman Islands are famous around the world as a shopping and business haven. Belize has some of the best scuba diving you can find in the world. Costa Rica is known as the Switzerland of the Americas. Montego Bay, Jamaica, just let your mind tell you how awesome the beaches and shopping are there.
My personal favorite is Roatan Island, Honduras. Roatan is an island that with just one visit, you will fall in love with it, forever. It sits about an hour off the coast of Honduras and offers great shopping, a great local nightlife scene, and some of the best food you’ll find in the Caribbean.
If you’ve done the Eastern Caribbean and are looking for a change, then a western Caribbean cruise is just want you need. Experience the same great cruise ship experience with different ports of call.
